All: O Lord, we praise your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You have done great things and have provided for all our needs. Yet instead of being thankful, we have acted proudly. We have hardened our necks and refused to obey. We have not been mindful of your loving kindness, and have forsaken your precepts, statutes and laws. But You are ready to pardon. You are gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness. By your great mercy, cleanse us and forgive us. Take away our sins and our love of sinning. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
